Emergency Grant Program Due to COVID-19

Grant COVID-19 Emergency Small Business Grant Program

Community LendingWorks has partnered with Grant County and Prairie City to create a Small Business Emergency Grant Fund to provide additional financial support to help local businesses through the COVID‐19 pandemic.

This program is available through December 18th, or until funds are fully deployed, whichever comes first.

1. Eligibility
Eligible businesses must:
1. Have been either forced to close by Executive Order 20‐12, or experienced at least a 25% reduction in revenue (see application worksheet on page 4)
2. Have 25 or fewer employees as of the end of 2019
3. Be located within Grant County or Prairie City city limits.
Importantly, businesses can be eligible regardless of having received assistance from PPP and EIDL.

2. Award Amount
Grant award amounts are determined as follows:
$2500

3. Application Package
Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis until all funds are deployed. A complete application
package will include:
1. Signed and completed Application Form
2. Copy or picture of the applicant’s photo ID
3. If the business was not forced to close by Executive Order 20‐12, please include Profit & Loss
statements or Sales Reports verifying 25% reduction in sales (see application page 4 for instructions)
4. 2019 Profit & Loss Statement
5. 2020 Profit & Loss Statement through June 2020 or sooner
6. Copy of City and/or County Business License
